Kosovo 
The Swedish National Audit Office and the SAI of Kosovo have, after a request from the Auditor General of Kosovo and preparatory discussions, initiated a co-operation.
The purpose of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the SAI’s operations, and the project will run from March- August 2011. The co-operation involves three subprojects: performance audit, time reporting and evaluation for a possible prolonged co-operation.
Kosovo is one of Sweden’s most prioritized countries when it comes to bilateral development co-operation. The planned activities of the Swedish NAO correspond well with Swedish political goals for democracy and efficiency in the public administration of Kosovo.
