The Government’s role on the gambling market – are targets achieved? (RiR 2012:15)
The Government’s actions to prevent negative gambling behaviour are not efficient. This is established in an audit carried out by the Swedish NAO. Svenska Spel is the largest state licensed gaming operator in Sweden. According to the Swedish NAO, Svenska Spel could take further actions to prevent addictive gambling behaviour.
