Newly arrived immigrants in Sweden – effective initiatives for a quick reception? (RiR 2014:15)
An increasing number of newly arrived immigrants remain in the Swedish Migration Agency's reception system waiting for a municipality to receive them. More effective organisation could increase reception capacity and lead to faster establishment of new arrivals while reducing central government costs.
