The State's dimensioning of teacher training – are the correct number of teachers being trained? (RiR 2014:18)
Students do not choose to a sufficient extent teacher training programmes needed most by the labour market. Consequently, the Government should more actively steer how universities and other higher education institutions determine the number of places in various teacher training programmes. This may reduce the risk of major shortages of certain teachers in future.
