Training support for persons given redundancy notices at Volvo Cars – retrained for work? (RiR 2015:1)
People given notice at Volvo in 2008–2009 were offered retraining and these measures received support from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund, EGF. A Swedish NAO audit shows that after four years there is no evidence of any effect at all on the participants’ chances of finding a job.
