International comparisons of income inequalities – Sweden’s ability to contribute statistics

Sweden has not contributed data to the Luxembourg Income Study (LIS) database for the past ten years and thus no longer participates in international research on income inequalities and poverty that proceeds from this database. There is no statutory obligation enabling the data to be released.
