Transparency in the Budget Bill for 2016 – Application of the fiscal policy framework

In the past 15 years governments have pursued fiscal policy that does not lead to achievement of the surplus target. According to the Swedish NAO the Government should be clearer on how far from the target it is and clearly report how it intends to return to it.
