Audit of the Budget Bill for 2017

The Government’s calculations underestimate public expenditure, as they do not take into account how changes in the size and age composition of the population affect municipal expenditure on healthcare, education and social services. This also leads to overestimation of the sustainability of long-term fiscal policy.
