Act on the Reception of Certain Newly Arrived Immigrants for Settlement (Settlement Act)– has the reform met the intentions?

The Settlement Act meets the intentions of the Riksdag, according to the Swedish National Audit Office’s (Swedish NAO) audit. It contributes to shorter waiting times, more evenly distributed reception between municipalities and better establishment of newly arrived immigrants in the labour market.
