The fiscal policy framework – application by the Government in 2021

The fiscal policy proposed by the Government for 2022, and that underpins the budget adopted by the Riksdag, in practice means that there is no scope for further increases in expenditure the following year. This should have been more substantially reflected in the Budget Bill in autumn 2021.
